This class is a one-day seminar designed to help companies be better prepared to deal with emergencies and help them develop an emergency plan. The class is directed to those individuals responsible for safety within the company. These can be members of a safety team or individuals for smaller companies responsible for safety. The class will cover the following topics: 1. General fire safety 2. Fire and life safety self-inspection program 3. Elements of an emergency plan 4. How to handle various incidents such as medical, fire, chemical, disaster Each student will learn the proper use of a fire extinguisher and when it is appropriate to use it. They will learn how to deal with basic response to chemical emergencies and how to protect themselves and others from a chemical spill. They will learn how to utilize a Fire and Life safety self- inspection to help reduce the chance of fire and to protect employees if fire does occur. And, they will learn how to be prepared for various types of emergencies that may occur within the facility. Cost: $1,000.
